Media Release - Resignation of General Manager

Mayor Peter Laird has announced Joanne Treacy has officially resigned as General Manager of Carrathool Shire Council.

On Monday morning Cr Laird said Mrs Treacy’s resignation was effective from Wednesday October 31, and the former General Manager is now on leave.

“The council’s General Manager, Joanne Treacy has resigned from council’s employment, effective October 31, in order to pursue her retirement and we wish her all the best,” he said.

Carrathool Shire Director Corporate and Community Services Robert Rayner will be acting as General Manager until the recruitment process is complete, Cr Laird advised.
