Our community centres on the Northern Beaches are a hub of activity and lifelong learning.
From yoga to playgroups, cooking classes to life drawing, community centres are great places to get active, meet people and participate in community life.
With 40 Council community centres across the Northern Beaches, we want to make sure that the programs and services offered continue and evolve so everyone can enjoy them.
What do community centres mean to you? How can Council provide the best spaces for the community? Please help us develop the Community Centre Strategy. Comments open until Friday 28 September.

“Today there are so many demands put on our time which is why it’s so important to schedule some valuable “Me time”. I have seen so many students who have taken my classes who improve their self-confidence, body image and self-esteem.
“I think community centres are incredibly important- they provide a sense of community, a place for education and skill development, all while supporting small businesses and hobbyists. Without community centres on the Northern Beaches, I wouldn’t be able to teach and share my passion with students.”
