With the advent of rainfall in the eastern side of the Yass Valley Council Local Government Area, in early February 2020 a restricted program has been introduced based on water availability and continuing rainfall. Should these circumstances change then the program will be either scaled back or ceased.
The proposed roads associated with a restricted unsealed road grading program for February/March are:
Fairy Hole Road (completed) Dog Trap Road (completed from end of seal to Isabel Drive Murrumbateman) Dog Trap Road (from Isabel Drive Murrumbateman to end of the road Spring Range Road Dicks creek Road Tallagandra Lane Back Creek Road Yass River RoadUpdate: Friday, 6 March Following the recent rainfall Maintenance crews are currently working across the council area to address issues raised during recent inspections. Today (Friday 6th) crews are currently undertaking the following works:
Sawyers Gully Road - repairing the cause ways, washed out Dairy Creek Road and Shingle Hill Way - road repairs Coolalie Road - repairing culverts washed outPlease be aware that all scheduled works are weather dependent. Numerous external factors can effect the works program and there may be instances where certain works are prioritised due to urgent repairs.
