Recyclable goods drop off morning 27 October 2018

Due to the huge success of the drop off morning held earlier this year and the outstanding community effort to divert hard waste from going to landfill, the Town will hold another community recyclable goods drop off morning.

Come along on Saturday 27 October from 9 am to 12 noon to the Depot, located at 69 Scaddan Street, Bassendean

Please note- You will need to bring ID on the day and proof of your address as this drop off morning is for Town of Bassendean residents only

(make sure you have  your items separated for easy drop off)

Items accepted

Metals Bikes, BBQ's, metal frames, corrugated iron/tin sheeting, air con units, hot water systems, dismantled swings/trampolines, white goods (excluding fridges and freezers) Timber Any untreated timber off cuts (no longer than 1.5m) crates, (No MDF, painted, stained or laminated cabinets or furniture accepted) E Waste TV's. computers, set-top boxes, monitors, keyboards, game consoles, speakers, stereo equipment, printers, scanners, photocopiers, DVD players, laptops, mobile phones, cameras Tyres Car, trailer, 4WD (off rims only) (4 tyres per household) Cardboard Cardboard boxes, cartons, packing boxes ( flattened) No plastic

Items NOT accepted * We reserve the right to refuse unacceptable items

These itmes can be taken to Red Hill Waste Management Facility, 1094 Toodyay Rd, Red Hill. phone 9574 6235

Open Mon - Fri 8am to 4pm, sat 8am to 4 pm & Sun 10am to 4pm

No Mattresses - call 9350 7195 to arrange for mattress collection (3 per household per year)
