Council financially supports local non-profit community groups and organisations to develop projects and programs to serve our community through its annual Community Grants Capacity Building Program.
Council will offer the following grants for the 2018-2019 financial year:
Seeding Funds of up to $500. These small grants aim to help eligible groups to develop programs and activities that benefit residents of Campbelltown. Community groups who do not already receive more than $50,000 per annum in external funding are eligible. Council will also support recipients to further develop their nominated programs during the funding period. Project Grants of up to $5,000. These grants are for community groups that have previously received Council grants.After this round of grants, Council will review and re-evaluate how its support to community projects and events can have the greatest impact, and what form this might take in the future.
Application forms, guidelines, information about other grant opportunities, and a workshop to support project planning and grant applications will be available during two information sessions for prospective applicants in October.
The Information sessions will be held at Council’s Staff Training Centre, cnr Queen and Broughton Streets Campbelltown on
Tuesday 16 October 6pm to 8pm Tuesday 23 October 10am to middayGrants open on Wednesday 10 October and close on Friday 2 November.
