City of Bayswater Libraries will be celebrating the right of children to enjoy childhood through an interactive series of events this National Children’s Week.
Taking place from Friday 19 to Sunday 28 October, the free events aim to create spaces for children to explore their natural curiosity and the excitement of play.
City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull congratulated National Children’s Week for continuing to encourage kids to be kids.
“In a tech driven world where children are growing up faster than ever, this is a fantastic opportunity to let our kids get back to basics and be themselves.
“There will be Outdoor Rhymetime and Storytime sessions, playtime with giant games, Tiny Tales with fairy-tale magic and favourite rhymes, and a Rainbow Butterfly science based story time for all little ones to enjoy.
“I really encourage everyone in the community to head along and make the most of one of your local libraries during National Children’s Week – or even visit all three!”
