An extra weekly Saturday morning Storytime session has been added to Toormina Library’s activities in the same week that Storytime officially celebrates its 20th birthday.

“The fact that Storytime has turned 20 goes to show just how important and enjoyable kids, parents and carers continue to find these incredibly popular – and free – sessions,” said Catherine Turner, Library Operations and Programs Coordinator.

“Storytime is held on different week days at all three of our branches, but we recognise how that’s not convenient for everyone. So we’re starting a special Saturday morning Storytime at Toormina Library for those families who have more time at a weekend to enjoy sharing the fun with their kids.”

Storytime’s birthday will be celebrated at the regular Coffs Harbour Storytime session on Wednesday, October 10, at 11am with Birthday Stories and cake. Attendance is free, but people are being asked to register online for catering purposes via https://storytime_birthday.eventbrite.com.au

If you can’t make the 11am celebration, you can still call in for a piece of cake until 5pm on the day.

Storytime sessions are held at the three libraries every week. They are all free.
