Join in the fun during Children’s Week

Come along to one of the free, family-friendly events being held in the shire during Children’s Week, from Friday 19 October to Sunday 28 October.

Children’s Week is a national celebration recognising the talents, skills, achievements and rights of young people.

Council is hosting a series of free events during Children’s Week from entertainer and educator, Team Henderson.

His performance The Clown in the Suitcase, combines music, juggling, magic and slapstick comedy, and is suited to children aged 2 to 5 years of age.

Performances are being held on:

Monday 22 October, 10am and 1pm at Manna Gum Family & Children’s Centre, 71 Robertson Street, Gisborne Tuesday 23 October, 10am and 1.30pm at Kyneton Mechanics Institute, 81 Mollison Street, Kyneton Thursday 25 October, 10am and 1.30pm at Woodend Community Centre, Cnr High and Forest streets, Woodend 

Each performance is free and runs for 45 minutes. 

The events are presented by Council, in partnership with the Victorian Government.
