Waiving of lane hire fees confirmed

At last night’s ordinary meeting, councillors heard the operator of the pools, Aligned Leisure, is committed to its plan of charging zero lane hire fees for the rest of this season.

No fee structure has been locked in for the 2019-20 season and the clubs are not bound by any agreement for future use of the pools.

Aligned Leisure will continue to hold discussions with the clubs about future arrangements.

Last night’s council meeting also heard that lane hire fees were part of the fee regime under the previous operators of Albury’s swim centres but the fees had been inconsistently applied.
