Calling all Perth pooches – the annual Dogs' Day Out is here.
Bring your humans to Rushton Park on Sunday 28 October from 10am to 2pm for a day which celebrates furry best friends everywhere.
There will be plenty of fun activities including a Best Dressed Dog competition, a Best Dog Trick competition, an agility course, and stalls offering a range of products and services to keep canines looking and feeling their best.
An assortment of dog treats will be available for purchase including raw and smoked goods, cupcakes, muffins, donuts, lamingtons, biscotti and frozen peanut butter and berry goodies with wheat and gluten free options available.
Whether you want the perfect collar to make the other pups jealous or need something that helps you eat at a leisurely pace (instead of chowing it down in one gulp), there are lots of gadgets to try, a dog wash, and vets and animal behaviourists on hand to chat to.
There will also be fun activities for the whole family including food trucks, a sausage sizzle, face painting and bouncy castles for the smaller humans to enjoy.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the event which is now in its 12th year continues to draw crowds from all over the Perth region.
“The City of Armadale is a dog-friendly City that is well known for amazing parks, hills and walk trails.
“There are many people in our community who love their pets, and this event is a great opportunity to enjoy the spring weather, meet like-minded people, and even get your pet microchipped at a discounted rate,” he said.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
