Oz Rock Express playing AC/DC, Jimmy Barnes, Icehouse, Hunters & Collectors and Daryl Braithwaite live on stage will be one of more than 35 events in the 2018 Benalla Festival from 3-11 November.
Oz Rock Express is part of the Village by the Lake festivities from 2.30pm on Saturday 10 November will also include performances by local college bands, the winner of the upcoming FReeZA Open Mic Night, Ellen James and Adam Toms and of course, food, workshops, fun and games.
This follows the Benalla Festival LS Precast Street Parade at 2pm.
The nine-day festival has art exhibitions, writing and colouring competitions, music events, open gardens, workshops and more.
Events take place across Benalla Rural City including at Tatong, Moorngag, Goorambat and Devenish.
Benalla Festival Advisory Committee Chair, Cr Barbara Alexander AO, said the program for this year again offers a diverse range of events.
“From the much-loved Street Parade to the Village by the Lake entertainment, FReeZA’s Open Mic Night, A Day in the Gardens Market and Remembrance Day ceremonies, there is something for everyone at the 2018 Benalla Festival,” said Cr Alexander.
“This year features exciting events in our rural townships including the Moorngag Mower Mania, the Goorambat Backyard Party, Devenish Silo Art of Honour, the Tatong Art Show and the Great Big Garage Sale,” said Cr Alexander.
