Cardinia Shire residents are invited to book their cats in for desexing at a mobile pet care van visiting Cardinia Shire on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 November 2018.
Council is partnering with The Lost Dogs’ Home to host its Mobile Pet Care Van, so that the local community can access discounted cat desexing services. The van will be located at Council’s Civic Centre at 20 Siding Avenue in Officer over the two days.
The cost to have a cat desexed at the van is $60. This includes free microchipping and animal registration with Cardinia Shire Council (valid until April 2019).
Cats must be in good health and aged between nine weeks and eight years old. Spaces are limited to three cats per household. The offer is only for residents of Cardinia Shire.
The Lost Dogs’ Home reports that desexing can have many positive benefits on your pet’s health and behaviour and also means he or she won’t be contributing to the high number of unwanted companion animals.
Bookings are essential and can be made at www.trybooking.com/421523
