Gladstone Regional Council advises that temporary traffic survey video cameras will be installed across 52 intersections within the Gladstone Region next week.

The cameras will be added to the intersections, located in Gladstone, Calliope and Tannum Sands, over the course of 14 days, beginning on Monday (Oct 15).

The cameras will be used to survey traffic and pedestrian volumes, enabling Council to identify and plan for any necessary future upgrades and to better understand driver behaviour patterns within the Gladstone Region.

Traffic survey video will capture traffic and pedestrian volumes and movements and will not measure driver speeds.
