Cessnock Library is hosting a free talk, Buddhism for Beginners: How to Transform Your Life from 5.30 to 6.30pm on Thursday 18 October 2018.  

The talk will be presented by Mick Marcon who is a Resident Teacher at the Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Newcastle.  

Mick has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for over 13 years and has taught meditation and Buddhism in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie.  

In this inspiring talk, Mick will discuss the book, How to Transform Your Life which is a practical manual for daily life that shows how we can develop and maintain inner peace. 

He will also discuss how we can bring about positive changes in our lives that will enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness.  

Library Services Coordinator, Rose-marie Walters is encouraging interested locals to come along.
