The Environmental Education Plan provides a framework to guide the development and delivery of future environmental education programs.

The Environmental Education Plan(10MB, PDF) provides a framework to guide the development and delivery of future environmental education programs that will empower the community to undertake behavioural change, live more sustainably and reduce their impact on the local and broader environment. The plan supersedes the 2009-2012 Environmental Education Strategy.

You can download a copy, pop into Council to grab a hard copy or call Council’s Environment team on 4645 4601 and ask for one to be sent out to you.

The plan is a great way to see what environmental education programs we have planned for the future. We also welcome your thoughts on what environmental education initiatives you would like to see happening in your community.

We encourage you to read this document and let us know what you think by calling the Environment team on 4645 4601 or writing in to [email protected]
