Community Capacity Building ProgramCouncil financially supports local non-profit community groups and organisations to develop projects and programs to serve our community through its annual Community Grants Capacity Building Program. Council will offer the following grants for the 2018-2019 financial year:
Seeding Funds of up to $500 aim to help eligible groups develop programs and activities that benefit residents of Campbelltown. Community groups who do not already receive more than $50,000 per annum in external funding are eligible. Council will also support recipients to further develop their nominated programs during the funding period.
Project Grants of up to $5,000 are for community groups that have previously received Council grants.
Information sessions for prospective applicants will be held on Tuesday 16 October 6pm to 8pm and Tuesday 23 October 10am to midday at Council’s Staff Training Centre, cnr Queen and Broughton Sts, Campbelltown.
Grants for 2018/19 open Wednesday 10 October and close Friday 2 November 2018.

Have your say Exhibition of a Development Control Plan – Caledonia Precinct, IngleburnCouncil, at its meeting on 11 September 2018, resolved to publicly exhibit an amendment to the Campbelltown Sustainable City Development Control Plan. The objective of the proposed amendment is to insert local development guidelines to support the orderly development of the Caledonia Precinct, Ingleburn.
A copy of the proposed amendment and supporting information will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 10 October until Friday 9 November 2018 on Council’s website at campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay and at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; at Campbelltown HJ Daley Library, corner Hurley Street and Camden Road; and Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn.

Exhibition of Draft Campbelltown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2018
Council, at its meeting on 9 October 2018, resolved to exhibit the Draft Campbelltown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2018. This draft plan aims to provide essential local infrastructure throughout the Campbelltown Local Government Area.
The Draft Plan is proposed to repeal a number of existing S94 Plans as well as the existing S94A Plan. All funds held within these Plans will be equitably distributed to the infrastructure and works listed in the Draft Plan.
In accordance with clause 28 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the draft plan will be on exhibition and available to review from 16 October 2018 until 16 November 2018 at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and via Council's website at campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay

Development Proposal 12 & 28 Cordeaux St and 5 Howe St CampbelltownCouncil has received revised plans and information from Campbelltown No. 1 Property Developments Pty Ltd concerning a development application at Lot 3 DP 575491 and Lots 50 and 51 DP 811930, 28 Cordeaux St, 12 Cordeaux St and 5 Howe St, Campbelltown.
Original Proposal
Demolition of existing structures, construction of a 10 storey residential apartment building consisting of 105 residential units, basement car parking, 2 retail/commercial units and a boundary adjustment.
Revised Proposal
The application now proposes a revised building design and layout, including a 14 storey residential apartment building, with a six storey building fronting Cordeaux Street. The development would provide 94 apartments, 144 car parking spaces, and two retail/commercial units. The application still includes the demolition of existing structures and a boundary adjustment.
The NSW Land and Environment Court is the determination authority for this application. The revised plans and accompanying information are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown.
