National Apology in Canberra on Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse

On Monday 22 October 2018 the Prime Minister of Australia will deliver the National Apology to Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse at Parliament House in Canberra. For victims and survivors wishing to watch the Apology, but unable to travel to Canberra, the Tasmanian Government is providing a safe and welcoming space for people to come together and view the live broadcast.

Hobart Function and Conference Centre, 1 Elizabeth Street Pier. Arrivals from 10.30am; Apology broadcast from 10.55am to 12.40pm.

The Premier, Will Hodgman MP, and the Attorney-General, Elise Archer MP, will be present. Relationships Australia and the Sexual Assault Support Service will also be in attendance. A light lunch will be provided.
