Get set for a spooky blast from the past at this year’s Fisher’s Flicks in Koshigaya Park on Saturday 3 November, which kicks off at 9.15pm.
The outdoor movie experience is a popular part of the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost and this year the movie that will feature on the big screen is Ghostbusters, the original 1984 film.
The supernatural comedy film stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis as eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City. After a big discovery, the Ghostbusters find themselves having to save the city from destruction.
Free popcorn will be available on the night, while other refreshments will be available for purchase.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said Ghostbusters was the perfect movie for the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost and would be fun for all the family whether they were seeing it for the first time or enjoying a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
“The outdoor cinema experience is a lot of fun for the whole family and I urge everyone to come out and enjoy what is always a great night,” he said.
“Fisher’s Flicks will be at the heart of the festival celebrations at Koshigaya Park, and will be a great way to finish an exciting day following the twilight street parade and fireworks display.”
Remember to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to comfortably enjoy the outdoor cinema. The movie will start at 9.15pm and finish at approximately 11pm. The film is rated PG.
