Emerald Botanic Gardens works playground closure

The playground and fitness area on the west side of the Emerald Botanic Gardens will be fenced off from Tuesday 23 October to Friday 2 November 2018 due to construction works.

Crews will install irrigation pipes from the toilet block on the northern end and work their way around the new playground area.

Installation of irrigation is expected to take one week, followed by turf laying – weather permitting.

During the works there will be open trenches around the playground area and people are asked to stay well away to be safe.

Approximate areas affected by the works marked in red.
