To celebrate Community Safety Month, we're hosting a community safety forum in the Chandelier Room at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Wednesday 31 October from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Join us to hear from experts including Victoria Police about community safety issues and initiatives in Boroondara and personal action you can take.
Following this, the speakers will participate in a facilitated Q&A session and respond to audience questions.

Speakers Dr Michelle Noon - criminologist, psychologist and lecturer, RMIT University - will speak about perceptions of community safety and the ‘fear of the crime paradox’. Inspector Stephen Noy - Boroondara Local Area Commander, Victoria Police - will speak about community safety and initiatives to address crime, welfare and safety related issues in Boroondara.This is a free event, but registrations are essential.
