Following the successful live-stream pilot of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to a number of NSW public libraries back in June,it is happening again this month and Cessnock Library is once again included in the broadcast!
The live concert proved so popular with regional audiences that the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Opera House and State Library of NSW have joined forces to live-stream the concert on Saturday 27 October from 2.45 to 4pm.
This time around the performance will Beethoven’s 9th, conducted by former Chief Conductor Edo de Waart and Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent is encouraging locals to come along.
“This is another wonderful example of how our libraries continue to be cultural hubs for our community.”
