The 1854 rebellion of goldminers that went on to secure a place in Australian history books will be re-enacted in a very artistic way this Sunday.
The Biennale of Australian Art (BOAA) has teamed up with BOX Wars for an all-ages action-packed afternoon of goldrush themed fun in Ballarat.
Boxwars, which is both art and destruction using cardboard, has grown in popularity over the years and will this Sunday be used to re-enact the Eureka Stockade.
The all-ages event will take place at the Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens on Sunday 28 October from 4pm.
However, it’s not the only Boxwars event open to the public this Sunday.
