A day of fun, free activities will be held at the Lakes Entrance Aquadome this Sunday, October 28 with the Aqua Run inflatable, Mighty Kids active class, face painting and free swim lessons.
The East Gippsland Shire Council event celebrates the end of National Children’s Week and will include a community barbecue (gold coin donation).
The popular Aqua Run inflatable will be available from 12-2pm (children under the age of five will require a responsible person over the age of 16).
A qualified gym instructor will be running a come and try session at 11.30am for the Mighty Kids Active Class. Mighty Kids normally runs on Monday evenings however the free open day session will introduce families to the fun, interactive exercise program with a focus on speed and agility. During the 30-minute program, children will be encouraged to have a go regardless of their ability or experience. This class is sure to help develop your child’s (4-12 years) healthy approach to health and fitness
At 10am qualified swim instructors will be conducting a free come and try swimming lesson for all age children who are not currently enrolled in swimming lessons. The swim school team leader will be chatting to parents and hoping to enrol new swimmers on the day.
