Bulk Rubbish Verge Collection 2018

The 2018 Bulk Rubbish collection is scheduled to commence on the Monday following your area’s specified weekend set-out date shown on the verge collection map below.

To ensure your next bulk rubbish collection is successful and collected in a safe manner, please ensure you

DO NOT place your bulk rubbish on the verge earlier than your area weekend set-out dates to avoid a littering infringement DO NOT place any additional items on your verge from Monday on your corresponding Area collection dates No returns will be made to a street for bulk rubbish put out late DO NOT exceed the allowable two (2) cubic metres waste limit (equivalent to two (2) 1.8m x 1.2m trailer loads) Place bulk rubbish neatly on the verge so that it does not obstruct the line of sight of pedestrians, cyclists or motorists ENSURE your bulk rubbish pile/s are clear from power poles, street signs, utility boxes, water meters and sprinkler systems as these may be damaged during the collection process DO NOT obstruct footpaths or your normal kerbside bin service Spiked or sharp items must be contained or protected to avoid injury to waste removal workers. Small items must be boxed or bagged Non-compliant items and/or excessive waste not collected must be removed from the verge within seven (7) days or an infringement will be issued.

DO NOT PLACE BULK RUBBISH ONTO ANY OF THE TOWN’S PARKS, RESERVES OR ANY OTHER VACANT LOT INCLUDING PRIVATELY OWNED VACANT LOTS OR OTHER RESIDENTS VERGES

Bulk rubbish on your verge before your set out date or after the collection is considered a littering offence. Offenders will be issued an infringement.

No Gas Cylinders

No Motor vehicles (whole or parts of except car seats)

No Large tree trunks or stumps

HHW - Household Hazardous Waste can be taken to Red Hill Waste Management Facility, 1094 Toodyay Rd, Red Hill

Tip Passes

You can utilise your tip passes to dispose of bulk rubbish at Red Hill if your set out dates is not convenient to you.
