Saturday 11 January East Gippsland Shire Council has welcomed the announcement by the Federal Government of more than $1 million in immediate support to be provided through the new National Bushfire Recovery Agency.

Friday 10 January East Gippsland Shire Mayor Cr John White will request both the State and Federal governments to prioritise local contractors and businesses as the region starts its recovery from the devastating bushfires.
