Changed Road Conditions on Bridge and Inch Street

Lithgow City Council has been undertaking renewals of the water mains along Bridge Street and Inch Street as part of the water mains renewal project.

Lithgow City Council will be undertaking day time road works along Bridge Street and Inch Street for the renewal of water mains and the connection of the newly laid water mains to the current water reticulation system. This process will be done over the course of a week to enable work to be undertaken with little to no interruption of service.

The roadworks will be beginning at 7:00am and be completed by 4:00pm each day for the duration of the project with some connections taking place through the night to ensure as little impact to the community as possible. During the works areas of Inch Street, Tank Street and Bridge Street will be closed to traffic with detours in place to access Tank Street via Railway Parade, Clarice Street and Read Avenue.
