22 October Redevelopment is planned for the Wetlands Precinct on Bibra Lake Reserve This includes the renovation and extension of the Wetlands Education Building, the demolition and rebuild of the Native Arc Building, reconstruction of the existing Scout Shed and a new state of the art Native Plant Nursery and Artificial Wetland, along with new car parks and landscaping.

26 October A new fuel facility for the marina is set to be completed by early November 2018. The $490k facility will allow local and visiting vessels to fuel up at Port Coogee, rather than travelling to Fremantle’s Fishing Boat Harbour.
