Orbost pool repaint complete

East Gippsland Shire Council’s Orbost Swimming Pool has a new outfit … well paint job at least!

The pool was recently emptied (water donated to local farmers), maintenance undertaken and repainted ahead of what’s expected to be a busy summer swimming season.

A new feature as part of the repaint was the introduction of a red drop-off line, as required by Life Saving Victoria.

The pool will now be filled and water treated. Council’s aquatics staff are planning a fun opening day event, so stay tuned for full details and opening times.
