Information from Main Roads WA. Notification of after hours work for installation of barriers for the Wanneroo Road and Joondalup Drive interchange construction project.

The City has been notified that barrier installation will be taking place between 7pm and 5am in the Joondalup and Wanneroo Interchange area and north side of Burns Beach roundabout between 9 November 2018 and 7 December 2018.

This after hours work is required as crews will be working on the road, which will require lane closures. Night works will ensure disruption to road users is reduced and works will be completed in the shortest possible timeframe, while also maintaining the safety of work crews and road users.   

Barriers need to be installed on all four corners of the Wanneroo Road Joondalup Drive intersection and the north side of Burns Beach Road roundabout to allow construction works to begin on the new interchange. Barriers will be installed along the yellow line and works will take place in the area shaded orange in the diagram below:

The noise generated from the night works will be minimal and should not impact upon neighbouring residents.

The following noise sensitive premises will be identified as potentially being impacted:

A radius of within 200m of the work area.
