Bayside Reconcilation Action Plan on its way

Council endorsed a timeline for developing a Reconciliation Action Plan at the meeting on 23 October 2018.  A Reconciliation Action Plan outlines the actions we will take to protect and promote Indigenous cultural heritage and the wellbeing of Indigenous people in Bayside.

We will now organise meetings with relevant Indigenous organisations to map a collaborative and meaningful process, allowing for consultation with Indigenous organisations and for feedback from Reconciliation Australia. The new plan is due to go to Council by 30 June 2019.
