2019/2020 Opening Hours Yass Pool Binalong Pool 2 November - 24 December: Daily 11am - 6.30pm 2 November - 24 December: Weekdays 3pm - 6.30pm & Weekends 1pm - 6.30pm 27 December - 1 March: Daily 10am - 7.30pm 27 December - 31 January: Daily 1pm - 7.30pm 2 March - 27 March: Weekdays 2pm-6.30pm & Weekends 12.30pm - 6.30pm 1 February - 27 March: Weekdays 3pm-6.30pm & Weekends 1pm - 6.30pm. Morning lap swimming: 2 December - 13 March: Mon, Wed, Fri only - 6am-8am (Subject to weather)  

Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Entry Prices - both pools Adults $5. Children $4. Aged pensioners $4. Preschool children and onlookers $1. School groups per student $1.50. Season Tickets

Yass (includes entry into Binalong pool)

Click here to submit an online application for an annual season pass YVC Swimming program Commences on Monday, 11 November 2019 and will run until the end of the swimming season, YVC Swimming program is held every week day afternoon. This season - YVC Swimming program will be broken up in to two groups: Stroke Correction and Competitive training Please note: To ensure all children are grouped correctly based on their swimming ability, Yass Valley Swimming Program will be conducting assessments on all swimmers from Monday, 4 November at 3.30pm. If you require more information please feel free to contact Yass Pool on  6226 1593.Stroke Correction: Parents and swimmers will have the option between two groups - 3.30-5.00pm and 5.00-6.30pm. Cost: $143 for the first child, $123 each additional child.Competitive Swimming: Parents and swimmers will have the option between two groups - 3.30pm-5.00pm and 5.00pm-6.30pm Cost: $256 Please fill out Form 52A - Yass Valley Swimming program Registration for both groups Form and money to be paid at the swimming pool. NEW! Yass Valley Council is now a provider for the Active Kids Program. As per the NSW Government guidelines the $100 voucher is only eligible for "structured programs of a minimum of 8 weeks." Swimming Lessons (block 1) Aqua Aerobics Aqua Aerobics during the day will commence on Friday, 6 December and will be held every Wednesday and Friday at 11am Aqua Aerobics in the evening will commence on Tuesday, 3 December at 6pm Cost: $5.50 for season pass holders, $5.50 for Pensioners including entry and $8.50 for a non-season pass holder including entry Intensive Swimming Lessons Program

2020 Shine Shield Carnivals

A Joint statement from Yass Valley and Hilltops Council regarding the 2020 Shine Shield competition: Due to the smoke that is currently blanketing our region, the 2020 Shine Shield swimming competition that is held annually over the coming weeks in Boorowa, Harden, Jugiong Yass, and Binalong has been cancelled. The decision is not one that has been made lightly but due to the uncertainty surrounding the air quality across Hilltops and Yass Valley, it has been decided that it is in the best interest of all participants to cancel the 2020 competition. We apologise for any inconvenience that this cancellation may cause.
