Bermagui Road intersection upgrade

The intersection of Bermagui Road and Umbarra Road at Wallaga Lake will be upgraded from Monday 5 November.

Bermagui Road will be widened to provide a right-hand turn lane into Umbarra Road to allow through traffic to safely pass turning vehicles.

The project will also involve the installation of signage to the Wallaga Lake community.

Work is set to begin on Monday 5 November and is expected to be complete by Friday 21 December, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place and motorists should expect minor delays when travelling through the area.

The project is fully funded under Roads and Maritime Service’s Road Safety Infrastructure Program.
