'White Ribbon – No Excuse for Abuse' Lakemba March
​Friday, 23 November 2018​

The  'Community Partnership Against Violence' (CPAV) committee lead by Campsie Police Area Command and which Council is a part of, have organised the sixth annual No Excuse for Abuse March for Friday, 23 November 2018. ​

Over the past five years, this event has attracted over 1,500 participants and it is expected to continue to grow. The march provides an opportunity for local residents, schools and organisations to show their support in preventing and ending Domestic Violence within the community.

Date: Friday, 23 November 2018 Registration: 5.30pm Start: 6pm from the corner of Gilles Street and Haldon Street, Lakemba Ends: Parry Park

At the end of the march, there will be food, entertainment and performances that promote the message that there is no excuse for abuse.
