The City of Burnside is developing volunteering opportunities for residents to learn about and participate in urban forestry activities. We are calling this program Burnside Urban Foresters. The program will allow volunteers to participate in workshops to learn about the urban forest. Topics will include the value of the urban forest, tree identification and wildlife habitat. We are also developing hands-on activities for those who wish to participate further.

The information provided on the night will be aimed at adults, but children may attend if accompanied by an adult.
