CCTV for Unanderra Library

Council is calling for community feedback on plans for CCTV cameras to be installed in the Unanderra Library precinct.

Over the past few months, an initial Safety Audit was undertaken along with consultation with Council’s Community Safety Reference and we’re now calling for the broader community to share their views on these plans.

CCTV cameras are being installed to maintain customer and staff safety and deter criminal activity and damage of public assets, particularly the heritage-listed library building.

The installation of CCTV is being carried out in compliance with Council’s CCTV Policy and Code of Practice.
