The Borough of Queenscliffe Council 2017–18 Annual Report is now available to view, following endorsement by Council at its Ordinary Meeting on Thursday 25 October 2018.

“The Annual Report is presented as part of Council's commitment to open, transparent and accountable governance,” said Borough of Queenscliffe Mayor, Councillor Susan Salter.

“The 2017–18 Annual Report features a wonderful photograph of Tom Limb carrying the Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton on the cover, and stunning photography of our people and landmarks to illustrate the story of our achievements and challenges in the last financial year.”

“Council’s four previous Annual Reports have been awarded a gold medal at the Australasian Reporting Awards, and the 2017–18 Annual Report continues to meet these high standards,” said Cr Salter. The Annual Report highlights Council’s performance against the 2017–2021 Council Plan and 2017–18 Implementation Plan and includes information about Council's operations, services and commitment to corporate governance. It provides key information required under the Local Government Act 1989 and other relevant legislation.
