It’s time to start getting ready for the biggest present swapping event of the year by embracing some making, fixing, swapping and doing with the Give Lighlty Eco-friendly Christmas program!
The free line-up of workshops and events will be delivered by Coffs Harbour City Council’s Living Lightly, the Sustainable Living program at venues across the Coffs Coast.
“We’re tapping into the joy of giving and gifting this year to help the community lighten their load on their hip pockets as well as the environment,” said Sustainable Living and Community Programs Coordinator Andrew Davis.
“There are a great range of workshops where people can make gifts for friends and loved ones including beautiful beeswax wraps, candles, body scrubs and air fresheners.
“We are also bringing back our very popular kids toy and clothing swap where you can exchange pre-loved goods with others.”
Local artist Tara Ainsworth has also designed a special Christmas wreath illustration that celebrates our unique natural environment for you to download and share.
