The Agnes Water Rural Transaction Centre annual photography competition is heating up, entries for the competition now closed.

The hunt for the category winners is underway, and it’s up to you to decide.

For the final stages of judging, the images have been placed on display at the Agnes Water Rural Transaction Centre.

Gladstone Mayor Matt Burnett encourages all members of the public to go along and check out the talent of our local amateur photographers.

“This is a great way to showcase the many different lenses our region can be seen through,” Cr Burnett said.

“The competition has really stepped up this year, and there are some fantastic entries on show.

“It really does showcase, ‘Why I love where I live’, the theme of this year’s competition.”

Members of the public can place their votes from now until 12pm Thursday, November 29.

The winners will be announced during a presentation at the Rural Transaction Centre at 3:30pm Friday, November 30.
