Airlie Beach Lagoon temporary closure

Whitsunday Regional Council would like to advise that the Airlie Beach Lagoon will be temporarily closed today, 7 November, from 5.30am – 1pm.

The lagoon will be closed to assist Queensland Police Service with their coroner’s investigation into the tragic incident last week.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks you for your understanding.
