Following the adoption of the amended local laws earlier this year, changes to regulated parking across the Shire are now being monitored.

The off street parking on Walsh Street Mareeba (IGA Carpark) is now included in the regulated parking area. Parking is permitted for no longer than 2 hours (8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12 noon Saturday). Unless signed otherwise.

Council has also introduced 8 hour regulated parking across the Shire aiming to reduce the number of abandoned vehicles and illegal parking and camping.

All other regulated parking areas remain the same as signed.
