Springsure people are invited to have their say about upgrades to the Rich Memorial Park playground.
Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Kerry Hayes said the park is an important venue for early childhood play and an active space for young families.
‘Council has $150,000 budgeted for the project to replace the playground’s play equipment under the shade structure,’ he said.
‘That’s why we want to know what playground equipment best suits people’s needs.
‘The project aligns with council’s Recreation and Open Space Plan to develop well-planned open spaces, sport and recreation facilities for the region to 2031.’
A public information session will be held in Springsure where people can speak with council’s community facilities and recreation team:
Rich Memorial Park, Springsure
Date: Wednesday 14 November 2018
Time: 5.15 pm
RSVP is not required.
People can also provide feedback via council’s online engagement portal Have your say.
