On Sunday 11 November 2018, Queensland will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice – the historic agreement that led to the end of the First World War.

Across the Gladstone Region, our Councillors will join members of the community as they stand together and observe a minute’s silence to mark the end of First World War hostilities a century ago, at 11am on November 1918 – the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
