Update (Sunday 11/11): Following works yesterday, the palm tree which fell on Friday at Civic Hall has been re-planted. The tree and the two other new trees on the Doveton Street side of the hall have each been reinforced with supporting acrow props.

Earlier (Friday 9/11): The City of Ballarat is currently managing an incident at Civic Hall where a palm tree has fallen. The site is being investigated to ensure the other two trees are safe and secure, and that the work site is safe. WorkSafe has been notified.
