Payroll Officer Part Time (0.6FTE) 8 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Shire is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and engaged individual to join our team as a part time Payroll Officer on an 8 month fixed term contract, with the potential of extending to permanent part time.

The role will ensure accurate and timely preparation of the Shire’s payroll in accordance with relevant Industrial Awards including maintenance of employee records.

Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award Level 5. A salary of up to $57,000 (Pro rata), negotiable + 12.5% Superannuation and free membership to our Recreation Centre.

Preference will be given to applicants who possess 2 years or more experience in payroll and experience with IT Vision’s Synergysoft Payroll program.
