The City of Ballarat welcomes the State Opposition’s promise to spend $3 million to provide improved bus services for Ballarat if it is elected to govern at the 24 November state election.
Ballarat Mayor, Cr Samantha McIntosh says improvements to public transport options will be welcomed by people who rely on buses to make their way around the city.
“The State Opposition’s promise to increase the frequency of buses during peak times, to extend operating hours and to align bus services with train time tables will make a difference to commuters travelling for work and for recreation”.
I hope the State Government will make a similar promise before the election to upgrade bus services in Ballarat.
