Celebrate the magic of Christmas at Carols by Candlelight and the Christmas Parade
City of Armadale 15 Nov 2018

Experience the magic of Christmas with colourful characters and enchanting carols as the City of Armadale invites you to join in this annual community celebration on Friday 7 December.

The festivities kick off at 6pm with the Christmas Parade along Jull Street Mall which will feature charming characters including Santa, Mrs Claus, fairies and elves in a showcase of incredible talent from the Armadale region.

Be entertained with song and dance performances by community groups as the parade travels through the mall to Memorial Park where Santa Claus is set to make a special appearance and share words of wisdom in the lead up to Christmas.

As the sun sets, collect your LED candles and songbooks for Carols by Candlelight and sing along with thousands of others in a spectacular concert with music by local schools and community choirs backed by the award winning Armadale City Concert Band.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said people of all ages and backgrounds were invited to celebrate as part of the community.

“Carols by Candlelight is a favourite for many as it provides the opportunity to celebrate with thousands of others in an unforgettable evening of entertainment,” he said.

Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and groceries to help local families in need as part of the annual Salvation Army Christmas Food Bank appeal.

This is a family friendly, smoke and alcohol free event. Go to the website at www.armadale.wa.gov.au and Facebook page for more information.
