The City of Ballarat engaged with residents, users of the current Civic Hall facility and the broader skate/scooter community to identify an appropriate space replacing the Civic Hall facility.

Through this process it was brought to our attention that the proposed site adjacent to the City Oval had some limitations including lack of toilets and debris (acorns etc) from the established trees in the area.

Council is committed to establishing another site and will continue to engage with stakeholders to find a suitable location.
