The City of Busselton is inviting recreation and commercial pilots and businesses to register interest in the newly developed General Aviation Precinct, part of the multi-million dollar Busselton Margaret River Airport Development Project. The new land lots available for lease within the precinct have direct access to an extended runway, new apron facilities, taxiways, helipads, and Jet A1 Fuel and Avgas. Ranging in size, the lots are equipped with water, power, sewer and telecommunications. City of Busselton Mayor Grant Henley said: “This is an invitation to the general aviation community to consider and take advantage of the range of commercial opportunities made available through the on-going expansion of the Busselton Margaret River Airport.
The City of Busselton is one of the fastest growing Local Government areas in Australia and a premier tourist destination with more than 3 million people visiting the region each year. This is a unique opportunity to secure a lease on a well-situated serviced lot within the Airport. Given the potential of the Airport and its location in such a high-growth area, we expect interest in the precinct to be high.” Registrations close on 31 October 2018.
