The Fire Tablet has arrived in Fairfield City Open Libraries for members to watch movies, TV shows, read ebooks, listen to audio books or read the newly-arrived Marvel Comics online.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said the tablets can be borrowed for up to three consecutive six-week periods for a total 18 weeks of use.
“The tablet borrowing time is up to 18 weeks, which is a handy amount of time for library members to use the tablet at home or on holiday,” Mayor Carbone said.
“There is a range of accessible material to entertain parents and children alike and it’s all free for library members.
“Fairfield City Open Libraries are at the forefront of providing access to thousands of free movies, books, audiobooks, magazines, songs and learning apps.
“If you’re not a member of Fairfield City Open Libraries, now is great time to join.”
