Christmas Carols in Claremont Park
Town of Claremont will bring the spirit of Christmas to Claremont Park on Sunday 9 December at the annual Christmas Carols in Claremont event, with a jam-packed program including kids’ activities, a visit from Santa and Perth Symphony Orchestra delighting the community with carols. Town of Claremont Mayor Jock Barker said Christmas was a special time of year for families to come together and celebrate. “What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than at the Christmas Carols in Claremont event in the picturesque Claremont Park,” Mayor Barker said. “There are plenty of Christmas themed activities to keep the little ones occupied as well as some great entertainment for the older generations.” “I’m especially looking forward to watching the talented Perth Symphony Orchestra once again perform for us in the beautiful surrounds of the park.” Activities will kick off at 4pm and include gingerbread and umbrella decorating, a bouncy castle, camel rides, farm animals, face painting plus much more. With food options galore, don’t forget to pack a picnic rug and settle down for a bite to eat in front of the main stage with Perth Symphony Orchestra performing carols from 7pm, which is sure to bring in the festive spirit. Christmas Carols in Claremont is a free, community event. Entertainment and activities will be from 4pm until 8:30pm, with carols commencing at 7pm.
